I've sold a few watches recently and had to replace some that I've sold.....you know what I mean.  I spotted this watch and really liked the dial.  Created in recognition of the Red Bull Air Races of 2006.  Similar to ther Navy GMT watch - instead of an internal timing bezel, it has a countdown bezel with a transparent hand that moves with the bezel.  Bezel controlled by crown at 4 o'clock.  GMT at 9 o'clock.  One can rotate the city names with the crown at 9 o'clock, but they only include the cities where the Air Races were held.  Watch is 42mm but wears larger because of the larger dial.  Display back and solid construction.  Hammies seem to be good buys for the money.

It was very difficult to take pictures of the dial because of the light reflection on the crystal.  Maybe it doesn't use any AR coating...not sure.

Very nice aquisition. I really like the updated look and color combo on the Air Race model. It makes me wanna dump my old Navy GMT and step up to this...

Enjoy the watch. I think it looks great and my feeling has always been this model gives you a lot of options. If it is the same as the Navy GMT you get everything you need for a multi time zone diving trip!! cool10.gifVery cool!

Thanks guys.  Appreciate the comments.  Really do like this watch.  Very comfortable, easy to read at a glance and in two days, it's only gained 5 seconds.  Seems Hamilton regulates its watches pretty good.  The Hammy diver I used to own kept very accurate time also.  I like the stock rubber strap, but had an extra Hirch Liberty tan strap - so put that on and like that too.:D
