I haven't seen too many members posting pics or comments on this watch.  Found one for sale on one of the other forums.  It was less than a week old and great price....so snapped it up.  So Debaufre Triton is on the way.  Won't be here for about two weeks.  Here's some pics I found in other places on the web.  The one I'm getting doesn't have the Watchadoo as seen in some of the pics, but I have a Watchadoo that I may put on this watch....I think it looks pretty good.  Since I sold my Sea Anglers, think I'm gonna like this one.

Thanks Dookie.  The fellow I bought the watch from, didn't do PayPal, so had to send him a check.  So just gonna take a bit longer for him to receive money and then send watch...patience is not one of my virtues but it's gotten better with age ;)  I'll post my impressions and some of my own pics, soon after I receive the watch.

If you're considering buying a new one direct from Debaufre, you might want to act fast.  I received and email from them last week that they were raising prices on 12/1.  The price on their website is still special priced at $499 but don't expect that to last very long.  I was keeping my eye out on various forums for a used one.  Two came up for sale in last couple of weeks.  I missed out on the 1st one but got the 2nd one.

Great looking watch! I thought about it twice.

If you got it from safety pro, don't worry. He is a real standup guy. Long time seller, and I have dealt with him several times.

Yep - I got it from John.  We've exchanged a number of emails about the Triton.  He provided me with a lot of info on this watch.  Very nice guy.

I'll post some comments on the watch after I receive it and wear for a few days.  I'm not too sure on the SW-200 either Steve.  I can't really make any judgements on this movement, since I don't own any watches with the SW-200.  I'm gonna keep open minded on this one.  I would rather it had 2824-2, but the price was just too good to pass on this one.  We'll see :).

I am tempted by that myself.

It would look good on a brown leather coyote2.gifstrap!!

Darrell - That orange dial looks great on the Hirsch.  I have an extra Enzo and Holland, thick tan strap that needs to be worn.  I may put that on...should look pretty sharp.

I was tempted to get the orange dial...but already have a number of orange dial watches and this black dial just popped up on the forum for sale.

I'm really looking forward to it's arrival...but over the last few weeks I've added a number of watches...so there are others to keep me satisfied while I wait ... woohoo.gif

Darn you guys, I know I am going to order one of these.  I  already have a Bernhardt Globemaster as a Christmas present to myself, now I think I'll have the Triton too!  My wife is going to wonder about all these new watches...can't forget about the Monstrum too, I got caught with that.

Plus I enrolled in the TZ Watch School :)

Cheers,
Griff

OldeCrow crosses fingers, hopes watch is ugly and smells bad too. That way he doesn't spend his Christmas money all on himself!

Received the Triton at work yesterday.  Wearing it today on an Enzo & Holland, thick, tan strap.  Here's my initial thoughts on the watch.  Fit, finish and construction seem to be very nice.  Very easy to read the time at a glance.  Lume is only ok.  Large watch but not overly thick.  Seems like a cross between the O7 LM-1 and Orsa Sea Angler.  The bezel has a nice feel and action, just a bit of backlash.  Bezel is on par with Sea Angler.  I haven't owned an LM-1, but did own the LM-3.  The bezel action and feel of the LM-3 is superior.  Triton uses the SW200 movement.  Only owned the watch for one day, so can't say much about it.  It may be running a bit faster than most of my 2824's.  It was 20 seconds fast this morning, after setting it yesterday morning.  We'll see after a few days.  Overall, I like the watch....we'll see how often I grab this one from the winders :D  Here's a few Q&D pics I took this morning.

Watch measures 45mm, not including the crown.  My wrist is about 7.5.

LOL, she didn't catch the Globemaster, which by the way is a very nice watch.  I am holding off wearing it until Christmas though so here's a stock pic.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a Christmas bonus!  And my TZ tool kit is on its way from Otto Frei hand6.gif

Cheers,
Griff
