I first saw these a few years back when Pax was chasing one on the bay .... he ultimately did not get it , but since then I had always had it in the back of my mind ......well I found out that they are a dedicated model marketed in Europe only , which made it difficult to obtain ....Its an inexpensive retro looking ETA 2824 powered Mido , saphire front and back with a decorated display back ....It has no screw down but the 70 year old cork system that Mido patented many years ago ..... that made it a 50 meter watch ....It wears bigger than I thought it would and its 42mm wide + crown and 37 mm in hight ....Here are a few pics

Now thats very cool - the cork crown is a neat piece of history.  Congrats CJ...  whats is the purpose of the 'pulsations' scales around the dial?

Ahhh, the ever coveted pulsimeter!! He's had this one one the brain forever. Glad you finally got one and it looks freakin' cool. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

CJ's been through a lot of high end watches, but I venture to guess this one will stay in the collection. Dare I say it takes its place in CJ's untouchable world along with his Oris?

Great snag, Cuz!!
