Well last night we (myself&kids) took my wife out for dinner, we had mexican food. This morning I cooked breakfest for my wife, also I cleaned up ant that's what we did.
I called my Mom yesterday plus I had sent a card with some filler as Dad calls it. She has been a great mom to me. They adopted me when I was 8 years old. And today I spent some time looking at pictures and reminiscing about the mother who brought me into this world.
Started last night with some grilling. An early morning and gifts from the kids and me. (nail polish, shoes, flowers). Off to brunch with my Mother and father and brother and his wife and kids. Up to Grandma's for gifts to the matriarch. Recover...
Funny, on Father's Day I'll cut the lawn and fire up the grill I bet...
I was trying to not get shot:shock:. We took fire from 3 - 5 different spots on our daily route, in what seemed to be a coordinated attack. After the debrief, when I finally got back to my living quarters, I immediately called my wife and mother to wish them a Happy Mothers Day. Once that was done, the adrenaline had run it's course and I crashed out. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful day:).
