I thought texas would win but of course did not bet on it.  Great game.  Reggie white did not shine in that game but vince young sure did.

Reggie White?????  He is retired last time I checked.  He had a pretty good career.:P

Anyway,  it is true Bush didn't shine.  It is very easy to say that his stupid lateral is what heavily contributed to the loss.  Young had an amazing game.  Although it was against a OK defense.  Nothing special with my Trojans defense.  Matter of fact.  The game was over except for a stupid player and an unintentional face mask.  Texas and Young capitalized on huge mistakes by the Trojans.  Which is exactly what champions do.  My hats off to them.  But, my personal opinion is that USC beat themselves more than being beat by any one player or Texas as a team.  All I heard is how they ranked 35th in defense.  Now Young is the greatest quarterback in college football ever by beating on a 35th ranked defense?  Seems that he did what he should have done.  Don't get me wrong, he is amazing.  Did a great job.  Definately did shine.  But without a unintentional face mask on 4th down the game was over.

For Bush it means he won't be making as much money this year.  For Leinart it really means he won't be making the money he would have last year had he went pro.  Poor guys stock went down.  Although Leinart had a great second half.  Set them up to win.  Young will win the money bowl come draft day.  There is no way he will stay away from the draft this year.   It will be interesting to see who is more successful in the NFL.  Last time I had a SC quarterback going against a rival quarterback in a nfl career I lost.  It was Rodney Peete career vs Troy Aikman career.  Poor Rodney,  I still love him though.:D

my bad .  i do not know why i wrote white i know it is bush. but a young in hand is still worth two in the bush. hehehe.  just kidding.  most heisman winners never make it in the pros.  but it was a great game.  just wish it was on earlier.

I know it was just a typo.  Just funny to read.  Can't argue about Young being worth more.  He led his team to victory while Bush lateraled his to defeat.  Pivotal moment as far as I'm concerned and one he never got over during the game.

I think we saw a lot of great bowl games this year:)The National Championship was a Very Equal Match-up.....I Think in the end it came down to Coaching....imagine if Young stays another year at Texas instead of the Pros I know it was just a typo.  Just funny to read.  Can't argue about Young being worth more.  He led his team to victory while Bush lateraled his to defeat.  Pivotal moment as far as I'm concerned and one he never got over during the game.
