When I bought my Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro on Friday, the sales manager
at TIMECO Retail Outlet asked if I was interested in selling watches for a living.
I told him no one has given me the chance or the opportunity in doing so.

I dropped off my resume the next day and was contacted by the CEO at 5 PM
Pacific Time for an interview this Friday!

After Friday's interview, I was told to try out at the store to see if I like it.
The slower and relaxed atmosphere appealed me after working in the restaurant
industry for almost 23 years.

Most people that came into the store from the rainy Vancouver weather, were mostly
tourists and window shoppers, browsing around the store and getting price quotes.
Which I understand because shelling out over $1,500 for a watch during an
economic slow down is not easy.

There were many close calls in closing a deal on a Longines Master Collection Automatic Chronograph, who knows maybe by next week someone who is knowledgeable enough to shell out $2,900 for this beauty, will certainly not regret it.

UPDATE:

I couldn't find a replacement at my other job.
So, now I'll have a full-time job in the morning and
a part-time job in the afternoon selling watches.

Keep this up for one month...who knows perhaps
I'll buy my first grail watch:).
