Thought I would put up a few pics of my 62 serro scotty.  Getting it ready to go camping this weekend.  Got it all polished and cleaned up.  Its a 13 footer. I took a pic of me beside it.  I am 6'4" with my shoes on.

Good luck...after years in the Military, camping, to me, is an Embassy Suites with no room service after midnight...roughing it is a Holiday Inn with vending machines! mistake.gif

That is a beauty but where are the polished mags?toon1.gif Watching you unfold out of that must be like watching the circus clowns climb out of their little car.

I know, I want to take the wheels off and sand blast and paint them like original.  I also need to take the hubcaps and get them rechromed as they are original too.    Also, whenever I sleep in it, I have to do so at an angle.   Its not wide enough for me to sleep straight.  The advertising says it can sleep 4, and 5 with the optional hammock which I have for it also.  I do admit I rarely sleep in it.  I have a larger one we stay in.  It is mainly for display.

My "camping" experience is generally unsupported bike touring and extended wilderness backpacking. I usually end up sleeping in a two pound tent or simply in a bag under the stars with bugs crawling all over me. But that Serro Scotty is so sexy in its polished aluminum, it has my full approval.

Nice pictures too.
