I left my GPS on the kitchen table today. I put it dead center in the middle thinking Shelby would not be able to get it. Yea, right. Heres what I have now. And yes, the dog is still living;)![]() ![]() |

ow. Dora, my dobermann will sometimes "move" the unattended cell phone around. She doesn't rip into it, just mouths it. But generally leaves the GPS devices alone. It must be the ringing. It can be annoying to hear the phone ring and not find it in time to receive the call. Invariably it's at one of her "spots". In the end we know the companionship of a dog is worth all the dumb stuff that can get chewed up along the way. |

I have a 10 1/2 month old Lab mix. About 85 lbs. I discovered that if you rearrange the letters in "Labrador", it actually spells "ultimate destroyer of things." I have stuff that looks like that all over my house, so I feel your pain brother. Take comfort in the thought that all the hard work will pay off and you will end up with a great companion. If not, we can start an online support group. |

Ouch! At least the cats just hide stuff. Had a dog as a child that thought everything was a chew toy. Can be annoying big time. :? |

Your GPS bears an uncanny resembelence to my cell phone, TV remote, stereo receiver remote, shoes, and countless other things. As I write this, I am waiting for delivery of a new remote control for the receiver. I've discussed this behaviour with the trainer and she said the dog needs more exercise and stimulation. The trainer says this is attention seeking behaviour. Good luck Scott, maybe your dog will outgrow the need to chew things up. I'm still waiting for that wonderful day. |
