Have you listened to them yet? They are beautiful. Make sure they upgrade the capacitors and resistors in the crossovers. Ask them if they will replace the Solen caps with Hovland Music Caps.

I am going for the active and passive upgrade. i think i will either get burl redwood or burl camphor or burl carpathian elm.. i want some burl for sure and i think since the room is mauve and red leather that i need a redish color in the wood. just my opinion. the speakers are very high piano gloss finish. excellent work on them. and good prices too.
hovlands are now passe randy here is a link the new caps are v-caps or OIMP and a combination is the best of both. I am going to shoot for the combo since the speakers are custom made.
