Barrett 50 Cal. long shot with a 32 inch barrel. The weapon can be made with a 28' barrel that is fluted, which makes it 4 lb. lighter, but reduces the accuracy of the weapon to limit it to urban duties. The heavy barrel is much more rigid and accurate at long distances. The bullet is still going super sonic at 5800 yds. and is only limited by the shooter, and equipment. This weapon has been cryogenic treated to relieve any stress points in the steal due to milling. It carries a 16x fixed power Gov. contract scope with a Tenebraex anti-reflection device. The scope rings are Badger Ordinance and that is about it.![]()

Every home needs one! :D If it was not for my access to all the military firing ranges and this competitive streak in showing the younger snipers that they need a lot of experience to earn the title not just pass, I would not have it. That gun is so tricked out and they never see it coming. I have such a genetic advantage in being left handed and right eye dominant that shooting was like breathing. The bolt action and longer barrel increase fps.. The loads that I shoot are custom hand loads specifically tuned to the gun. I received it a few weeks back and had it frozen in Virgina. The testing of this one has just started but I will know soon all of the specs.. General stats I forgot it has been a long time since I went through the Armorer class. I was to busy learning the milirands and cosine of angles. I will look it up though. I tend to shoot at 1000+ yd. distances.

Ken we are running 3100 +/- fps and around 13000 + foot pounds of force at 5yds. It is a little bit higher than the M107 by a few %, not as much as you would think due to the small % of the force that is used to operate the action on the M107. Much more accurate than the M107 though which is worth the increased recoil and after the cryogenic treatment it has almost no loss of accuracy due to heating up.
