Went for an eye exam the other day. I have been a contact lens wearer for distance for over 20 years. Like many as I have crept into the forties...my reading vision has left me.

Not anymore...optomitrist set me up with one reading lens and one distance lens........as the song goes....

" I can see clearly now"snoopy1.gifI was skeptical, not anymore. Good buy reading glasses.....for now:)

Tony using a monocular contact system takes a second or two to get use to.  If it is a true one eye for distance and one for near than I assume you were told about the difference that you will experience estimating distances, for example on coming cars.  The system is solid been used for years and gives the maximum amount of usable reading area.  Congratulations on the refraction and fit.
