at![]() Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS So who do you like in this one? Please use the poll and indicate your opinion. Feel free to tell us why too... I'm going with the Ravens for a couple reasons. Their defense rocks. I want to see Steve McNair continue his rebirth. I also have no love for the Colts and I can't really tell you why. I'm certain Mr. Spock will come by and blast me, but my gut just doesn't care for the Colts and their QB, Peyton Manning |

I'm a bit of a closet Colts lover.. It might just be because I feel bad for Manning, but I'd just like to see him get to a Superbowl so all the talk can stop on "how great he is BUT not good enough to make it to a Superbowl". In order for them to win, they need Manning to have a great game, not like last week with 3 INT's.. the Ravens know how to score when they get an INT :) I do, however, think the Ravens are going to win.. the Colts on the road playing in my eyes, the best defense in the NFL, will be tough. |

Actually, Manning is a whole lot better than Marino ever was, which wasn't much! |

One of you wisenheimers voted after the game started...couldn't close the polll in a number of hours... I'm guessing it was KC!! At any rate, this was a crappy game no matter who you were rooting for. Not very well played by either team. At least Manning has a chance to lose the Marino-esque tag by advancing... BLECH!! |

Eek.. Manning in the same sentence as Marino.. That was one hell of a boring game.. unless you get off on watching Defense's kick ass. Which actually surprised me, that the Colts defense has really stepped up since Bob Sanders returned and they got in the playoffs.. if they keep rollin' they'll be hard to stop. |

JoshB wrote: Eek.. Manning in the same sentence as Marino.. Don't know which one you think is offended..............I would hope, Manning! Marino was a great passing technician and a terrible footbal player lacking in temperment, ball handling skills, and, mostly, leadership ability. Thanks to a record setting season his rookie year, he established himself as a genius. Unfortunately, much of the credit that went to Marino, should have gone to his wide receivers....4 of the best who ever played the game, Morris, Duper, Clayton and Cefalo. Equipped with an undeserved reputation and a prima-donna attitude, he and Shula then together accomplished the ruination of the Dolphins! As an added note, Marino treated kids wanting autographs (and others I assume) like dirt! Pax..............I confess, it was me................but then, I picked the Gators before the game! cat28.gif |
