You are NOT abandoned; am just filling up my dance card with a couple of folk dances.  However, they aren't answering, are they?  (more deep sighing)

You noticed the rise in temp, too, huh?  Almost wish I'd never brought the topic up because I REALLY want to dance....;)

Ah, but, Carol, I am also of that era and I prefer to dream of romance. Many an evening I have also listened to many of the great songs of my younger days and waxed nostagicaly for those days of younger innocence and romance. I feel your pain, babe. I will dance a virtual samba with you in my arms tonight, mon ami.

Sure wish I would have learned it:( When I was a kid and into my 20's I marveled as my Mom and Dad dance like poetry:) There favorite and they danced like it.... was "Spanish Eyes" but of course they could dance anything. Tarentella included.
