Yes, it was hung up for a while because of problems with international patents. Invicta Watch company (IWC) was kind enough to let Invicta Car use the side vents. S. Coifman has also let the car company use tires and wheels which shape he patented many years ago as the "Circle". The permission also alows the use of a similarily shaped steering wheel and other parts of the car.
