Even if you are already on the Do Not Call list, unless you did it very, very recently, it's time to register again for another 5 years.

On the other hand, maybe you enjoy hearing from them.

So, it's just a suggestion and takes maybe 3 minutes.

I generally just don't answer the phone if I don't know the name or number and if it is unknown I flat out ignore it.

But thanks this could be worth doing again. ;)

I did this when it first came out, but I've changed phone #'s since then, so I would've needed to redo it anyways.

Another tip, you can reduce the amount of junk mail you get by registering here:

http://www.reduce.org

It removes your name from pre-screening lists on the credit bureaus, greatly reducing the volume of unwanted mail.
