Those look pretty good, although I always put the most faith in the Coaches Poll...some strange names on there that haven't been seen in a long time (if ever), like S. Florida and Hawaii.  Got to agree with the AP on LSU vs USC.....USC struggled and almost lost to unranked Washington!

I still got faith in my GATORS, though...they are currently a very young team with about 70% of their players being Freshmen and Sophomores!  They are about where they were at this time last year!  It was an interesting day of "upsets" yesterday...hell, even Florida State won!!!!

Take into consideration how hard it is to win in Wisconsin...and that makes my point more justifiedThumbsUp02.gif

Oh I agree with you 100%. The Badgers were very fortunate to come out with a W! Not too enjoyable a watch for a Badger fan as the Spartans took it to the limit!

And, in case you forgot Mr. C, Ohio State easily put Washington away a few weeks ago 33 to 14.

Mr. W, means nothing...as you can see by this week-end's games, it has been proven that there are up & down games/days for everyone...and I have always said that Ohio State is terrific...they consistantly turn out some of the finest 2nd place teams in the Nation!!!! goofy

The Game was played right here in Tempe, AZ at Sun Devil Stadium. The Buckeyes weren't given a chance by anyone in that game, but they won sending the overconfident Miami Hurricanes home stunned and upset. Sound familiar?

No...but if it was the the Miami Hurricanes, no respectable GATOR would have been watching....as in my 2 favorite teams are the GATORS and whoever is playing against Miami (unless of course, that opponent is Notre Dame - then there is nobody to root for!)

Sound Familiar comment - What I meant Ken, was the comparison between the Miami vs. Ohio State national championship game in 2003 and the Ohio State vs. Florida game this year. In 2003 Miami was THE team and practically everyone felt they would win. Many felt OSU wasn't big enough or fast enough to play with Miami. Ohio State came in and found a way to win and surprised everyone. The year was 2003 by the way (I was off a year).

Now flash ahead to 2007. Same Phoenix area, different stadium. Ohio State rolls in and not many expect Florida to win the game. Including the team from Ohio. Florida embarrasses the Buckeyes and totally dominates them. That's what I meant by "sound familiar" (as in comparison to 2003 in reverse).

To bring you up to date:
Ohio State Beat Miami in the 2003
Fiesta BCS title game 31 to 24
Ohio State Beat Kansas State in the 2004 Fiesta Bowl 35 to 28
Ohio State Beat Norte Dame in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl 34 to 20
Ohio State Lost to Florida in the BCS title game in 2007 41 to 14
(all these games were played in Tempe and Glendale, AZ)

I agree. Penn State seems to have more talent this year on the field than on the sidelines and in the press box. The play calling is not like the Penn State teams I remember.

JoPa and Bobby Bowden, once the finest coaches in the game, are senile and past their prime...the game has past them by............
