I'm not sure if I agree with your comments on the difference between power and finesse tams, however I am ashamed of the way the Badgers have been playing this season. May be you are right...

UGH!!!

Man I call it, the way I see it, USC should be kickin the hell out of stanford.  I am a USC fan, but we are not playing like we are ranked # 1 Or is it #2.

Well You have a point Pax.  You know this is all I have to root for.  The Raiders might win a few, and that's a maybe, USC was suppose to dominate, but watching them and now that they lost to stanford, give me a break.

It's becoming evident that with the NCAA imposing a maximum scholorships a school can hand out...it has left some pretty good players going to smaller name colleges and bringing a level of parody to the sport, as evidence of South Florida being ranked #6 and maybe higher after this week.

I think this may be a good thing:D Unless you are Michigangoofy

I tried to point out last season that the Big 10 (11 - whatever) was mired in the old school of size...but few would listen.  The game, I believe. was actually changed by Jimmy Johnson (as much as I despise him) from a game of size to a game of speed when Jimmy hired a gang of very fast street thugs when he became head coach at Miami!

Big is good only if fast!

and NOTRE DAME actually WON a game today!!!!subtlelaugh.gif

The only time I could not choose a team to root for was when Miami played Notre Dame!

You know I have to agree with Ken on this one, but USC has the fastest they say on ESPN, all day long, they must of got the smart ones, what we really need is some thugs, now that will really make us fast.

Tony,

Illinois had one of the best recruiting classes in their history last year and they landed one of the best halfbacks in the country. Illinois is FAST and they are coming on strong. Wisconson was a bit over rated.

Michigan and Penn State are stuck with coaches past their prime. Eastern Michigan is one of the weakest football programs in the MAC. Michigan should have sailed through them.

Ohio State may be a tad over rated, but not by much. They have a great defense and they DO have speed in their defensive backfield. The bucks quarterback is quite good and once Chris Wells and Saine are both 100% they will have both power and speed in their running attack. They have good, if not great receivers this year too. 6-0 ain't bad ya know. hearteyes.gif

And why the concern over the Big 10 when upsets in the last few weeks have been the rule in every conference. LSU would have been the latest tonight if Florida hadn't checked out in the fourth quarter.
