Question about computers

How come when Im on other sites, in perticular Watch u seek, when I open it in my browser the hour glass icon continues to keep working for like 3 minutes then it finally loads, I can surf and stuff but it keeps on loading something?

That is the only forum I have this kind of activity on?

Was curious more than bothered.

Thanks men

Hucky

They're spying on you.

Actually, there are a lot of scripts and stuff on WUS that may still be loading in the background as you view the page.

Yeah WUS has really got a lot of overhead and takes quite some time to load up fully. How's your high speed situation, Hucky?

and they're spying on you... your cookies are read so to know what watch stores online you buy from and what styles/brands you prefer, so the user interface can be tailored to show a myriad of ads geared to your particular watch preferences... kinda like TiVo for watch shopping...  heh...

...another reason is, it is not only the speed of your computer and connection that is important, it is also important that the web site have enough bandwidth and server speed/capacity.  WUS has always had problems in this area of having less bandwidth and capacity than they need to properly service their members...although it has gotten better as of late!
