Pre-V=Pre-Vendome. That's a pre-V style buckle on my Base. Sorry I don't have a better picture. If I'm not mistaken when Vendome (now Richemont) bought Panerai and reissued the watches they came initially with thumbnail buckles. The pre-V buckles were used on Panerai straps from 1993-1997.![]() |
