My wrist measures just over 8 inches.  I'm thinking of ordering a leather strap from ****.com  but have never done business with them.  Any suggestions?

Well as you can see the business is not in good standing with 3T. But if they have something you want contact them and let them know. Surely if they can accommodate you they will. If not post back what you are looking for any maybe we can point you to a few other directions for possible like options. Good luck. ;)

Thanks padna.  Here's my crux: I can't justify a $100-200 strap on a $200-400 watch.  Any other suggestions?

You could look over the "3T Custom Strap Shops" and check out The Watch Prince for starters. ;)

I suppose it depends on what kind of material you're after.

I will say this, I have several 24mm leather P***time straps and while the quality is good for the price, I don't think they'd be up to an 8" wrist.

I have a 24mm leather strap that I got from Anders at Dievas, and it looks like a monster compared to the others.  It would definitely by more to length, but also just the overall proportions of an 8" wrist.  I'll try to post a pic later.

Like Skip said, there are lots of options out there and the straps section here is a great place to look.

Smith 1792, maybe you can let us know what watch/es you are thinking of fitting straps on to. Maybe we can be of better help with choices, materials etc. It may be more cost-efficient that way.;)
