I decided to try an Orb strap and got one from the summer sale. I'm a newbie when it comes to Panerai style straps and have only handled the Benarus strap that came with the watch and a panatime strap. This Orb strap looked nice and beefy but is rock hard compared to the other straps I've had. Takes quite a bit of effort to put it on or take it off. I suppose it might soften over time, but it does look good and is very robust once on the wrist. I like it. Here are a few pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That looks awesome!!! Did you just use the buckle from the factory strap or did you get a spare?

Very Cool! woohoo.gif I also have a growing collection of Paul's straps. The more you twist them and bend them the softer they get. I did the same thing with the strap I have for my Deep Blue and it has become my favorite strap... ![]()

Haha, right now the strap wears like a wooden bracelet, but I like it on this watch a lot. It's not uncomfortable or anything, and I'm not sure if I even need it to soften. It's the most manly feeling strap I've worn yet. LOL! My Sea Devil haven't seen much wrist time lately, but I think this strap will make me wear it more often.

Don't worry about the suppleness of the strap, GX9901. In due time it will soften and "bond" with your wrist. Have you tried a GPF-PreMod buckle for that hefty strap? That buckle will complement your beefy and robust strap. I like your combination of strap and dialhand6.gif
