So I bought a magrette moana pacific earlier this year and I just can't get used to the oversized buckle (panerai style). I've tried other bands but most are too thin and the balance is just off with the watch. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing the buckle for a thick strap or a strap that would work that DOESN'T have the large buckle? Thanks in advance.

You can try http://www.thewatchprince.com or http://www.westcoastime.com and choose from a range of buckles. I'd suggest either the regular pin type buckle (but this won't match the profile or chassis of your Magrette) or the sparta buckle.....not as huge as the Pam type buckle but maybe will be to your liking. Hope this helps.

You may also want to check out the buckle/strap selection at pana time.com (many non-PreV style buckle and strap options) or Steinhart watches (they have an OEM style buckle that is a thumbmail style/smaller buckle too and many strap options).
