I was thinking about swapping the crystal on my monstrum to a flat one - like on the sea angler.  Would the crystal from that watch fit? and where would I get one from?

Cheers shaun

Why not send Berg and PM and ask him? I know the case sizes are diffeent but I am not certain about the crystal.

Personally I thing the big ass domed crystal makes the watch even that more Monstrum-ish. I was just playing with that crystal and sunlight the other day.

The main reason for me asking was I thought I'd put a big ass scratch on it!!

When swimming with my kids - just in the local pool and noticed a nice 1/4 " gouge on it when I got back.  Oh bugger!!

Anyway thought it might just be the AR - which I think it has right?!!?!? So figured a quick buff with a cape cod cloth might reduce it a bit.

2 minutes later the mark was gone completely!  Pretty sure it wasn't a scratch on the crystal after all - but it certainly looked like one and gave me the frigtheners:shock:

I think It might have hit something else glass or maybe plastic which left a bit of residue on the crystal.  Anyway its back to nice pristine condition nowsmile8.gifsmile8.gif

I was gonna say it would be pretty hard to scratch a 5.5mm thick saph crystalcoyote2.gif.....if you have a qualified watchmaker in your area they should be able to fit it with a flat crystal without much problems imhohand6.gif
