My newly acquired Sea Angler is a delight.  The retro dial markers and hands are balanced by a brilliant color scheme and textured dial that does not come across as cluttered.  It is really a design feat when you can pull off a fresh look that is not derivative looking or an express homage.

Can anyone shed light on how case backs are manufactured--extruded? Stamped?  The Angler Fish relief is really a piece of art.  Is it typical for these to be done in CAD, or is it an older process that is used?

thanks
