So when I initially botched my original Monstrum Strap, I ordered a couple of replacements while anxiously awaiting a replacement part from Berg.

I never got around to putting one on, but today, felt the itch since.

I have a plain black rubber one, a black tire tread strap, and the one pictured below.

I am unsure on this one, but am going to wear it around today to see if it grows on me.

Any input?  I think my main issue is that the stock strap really hugs the contour of the case better so it looks more substantial.

Is the strap a grey silicon? Not talking to me as the grey doesn't work well with the case finish imho. No offense intended.:D I have the same Monstrum and have never taken it off the stock strap. Now you've got me thinking.:dude:

I think I would go with something dark to pull out the black in the dial and bezel. a Maratac looks good on these and would be tight with green stitching. Never seen one but I do know magic markers!!toon1.gif

I agree with changing back to the stock strap. If you are considering a bracelet look at my post, Monstrum #3.

Also look at the post, Orsa Blue Monstrum changed shoes, for the Martac Look. I think the Martac looks great on the Blue, and probably would look good on any of the Black faced Monstrums. JMHO.

Nope. face4.gif Grey strap on your Monstrum just doesn't tick, IMHO.

Black rubber would be best and maybe followed by black Divertec. Not sure how an olive Divertec/Maratac would match with your Monstrum though.

I actually think that grey would work well on a Blue Monstrum.

You know, I thought about a gray too ... trying to pick up the blasted finish on the case. You are correct tho ... the colors are too far apart to make a good 'pair'.

I wear my green Monstrum on a black Hirsch Extreme. I think the stock strap is too 'sticky' for my tastes.

I like the look of that Hirsch strap, especially in the wrist shot, nice bulk to it coming out of the lugs..ThumbsUp02.gif

Here's some summertime fun...

Picked this strap up as a lark when buying a leather strap for a different watch.

It's fun for a little change up I think.
