Berg and myself are proud to announce the completion of the very sought after Orsa/3T LE!Through Berg's relentless search for the elusive eta 2824-2 movement he has been able to purchase 15 more engines for the completion of the watch!hand6.gif Due to the scracity of eta's and rising cost there is a slight price adjustment which imho is well worth it as those who already own one will attest!yourock.gifAll 3T members who have contacted me in the past as well as any new members please pm me with your interest as cancellations may arise....please only those truly serious...Please do not contact Berg who is very much involved with the completion of the "Monstrum" will be unavailable for the time being and will go unansweredwatch2.gifThere are 15 LE's at the new assembler ready for assembly bringing the Orsa/3T LE to a very limited 25 total!...again only 15 remain so please pm me asap!time2.gif I will answer any questions in this thread regarding the watch and it's modificationsthankyou.gif

I think the little added cost will be very worth it folks. I know some have had their name in the hat longer than me. I think I tossed mine in back in April and can say I am very very excited.

yourock.gif

This being a LE the price is very good still especially with such a low number. I can tell you when mine lands here it will not go anywhere till I go to meet my maker and then it will go to my kid brother. :);)

Oscar,

What mods are you referring to on the 3T? Also, just for clarity.............it does have the eta movement? When exactly can we expect these if we are lucky enough to get one? I know, questions, questions, questions.............I'm full of them or something:D.

hello, I'm new here and signed up, after adding my name on the waiting list for the Monstrum. Having seen the picture of the 3T, however, I'm very impressed, and wonder if you could e-mail me information concerning how to order, price and some characteristics. Thank you

I would like to give an update to those waiting on the final run of the Orsa/3T LE.There were 2 isues that have slowed the completion of this watch...#1 the datewheels that came for the eta 2824-2 were not compatable with the date at 6 or even at 4 and to have them modded as in the 1st ten would have taken up to 6 months to complete....also the dials were incomplete unknown to both of us until they arrived from the modder to the new assembler and very unfortunate but would have taken an equal amount of time to send to another modder for completeion.Berg stepped up above and beyond to resolve these issues and with the aid of another well known watchmaker was able to get datewheels needed but the date window had to be moved to the 4 position......in order to accomadate the movements and datewheels a decision had to be made quickly as to not drag this project out any longer than necceasary so Berg took the initiative along with my advice and had his dial maker make 15 new complete dials with the date at 4 which took 30 days to complete. The dials are now complete and I have not only seen the original drawings which were made from the original Orsa/3T LE but the actual completed dials which I am happy to say are absolutely beautiful! The dials are on there way to the assembler here in the U.S and although there is not a definite completion time they are in the final steps of completion...assembly followed by QC! Berg deserves a round of applause imho as I do not know of any manufacturer who would have taken these steps to insure the completion of Orsa/3T LE which has been an experience to remember for all involved! Thank You Berg...you are a awesome friend of 3T!yourock.gif

Now for the Big question to those receiving and already owning one of these very limited watches.Since the 1st run had the date at 6 and a green second hand and  this 2nd run will have the date at 4 and a white second hand ...would you like me to make two seperate Orsa 3T/LE certs? ...the 1st being #1-10 for the watches with dates at 6/green seconds and a second set of certs #1-15 for those at 4/white seconds? or just keep it at #1-25....The decision will be based on your opinions and advice as owners of this watch and will be truly appreciated as well as hopefully being a unanimous decsion which everyone will be happy with.Thank You for your patience 3T/ WIS!thankyou.gif

Thanks for the heads-up O ! hand6.gif

S'amazing the minor details that can knock a tiny little run of basically "prototype" watches off track.  Glad it's all coming together, but like 'Dawg sez.. the anticipation's a big part of the fun!

Certificates... Hmmm... I'm real happy to let you work that one out O.  Looks like a no lose proposition to me either way.  I'll bet the "original 10" owners will have a firmer preference.  All sounds good to me though!

Wu-WOOO !

Big O,

As the owner of #2...I think it should remain 1/25 as originally planned...there should be no "elitism" beyond owning the ORSA 3T....That said, my concern is to those watches bought by an unscrupulous few, who immediately violated their commitment to 3T and sold them at a profit to non-3T members.  It was a violation of a commitment and, imo, they should not be considered as part of the 3T LE issue.

First... A big thanks to Berg for his excellent customer service. I can't wait to receive my watch!

As for the certs, I would leave that to the senior members of this forum. Either decision would be okay with me.

I'd prefer the different numberings/certificates, as there are two different models.

I would have to agree. Are the watches themselves engraved with the LE/Serial # on the case back? Has that already been done?

I will leave the decision to greater minds than mine.

Either way will be OK with me. Whatever makes the most

people happy is fine with me. It is special enough just to

be part of this project.

Berg should be commended for his time, effort and dedication

in getting these watches compleated.

IMHO.

Being an owner of the first version of the 3T Orsa, I too prefer a x/10 type certificate.  That in turn also makes the second version of the 3T Orsa more exclusive, being x/15.

Can't imagine anyone giving up their place in line now that we're this close!

No complaints outta us.  Just eager and champing at the bit.

Especially once the new bracelet is released, this watch is gonna be Fantastic!

*(wonder if we could have the 3T LE delivered w/ the new Monstrum strap?)

Wasn't complaining and I have the patience of Job. Was just wondering how it was going as we hadn't had an update in a while. Just throw us a bone every now and then. ;) The watch is fairly exclusive so it makes us feel like big-shots being in the mix. subtlelaugh.gif
