I opened up my Kazimon 1500 by request of a friend who pointed me to a thread on another forum where some guy who doesn't even own a Kazimon posted that Kazim does not use elabore or top grade movements and only uses low to mid grade etas???.....this is my 1500 and it is an elabore eta 2824-2 with incabloc shock system, glucydor balance wheel and ball bearing rotor with a double o-ring caseback... not a base eta...the 1500 is also 100% German made including the dial and hands....so I hope this eases your mind as to what you will be receiving in a Kazimon....I have inside looks of other Kazimon watches posted in this forum and all of them use an elabore or better Swiss eta...the Drei actually uses a fully decorated top/chronometer grade Val. 7750!...![]() Attachment: 032.JPG (Downloaded 294 times) |

Thanks for the pic Oscar. Don't you ever worry about taking your watches apart? I'd be afraid to screw something up and lose the water resistance. |

nope...doesn't bother me and as long as you tighten it back down the same it won't affect the WR ....all watches are pressure tested, water tested or both for water resistancy and there are no guarantees a watch will keep the rating after a while or even after it leaves the factory...during shipping if not packaged properly or dropping a watch can change the WR as it may loosen a seal in the crystal, crown and caseback areas....just like servicing any watch a dive watch should be checked once a year for water resistancy as a part of regular maintenance....below is a good read on WR![]() http://smhosein.tripod.com/id3.html |

And the movement is holded in 2 places by solid clamps hooked in the case![]() They show on each extremities of the rotor: You can observe the screw-heads who hold them in the movement's borders... Somes could think that it is allways made this way, but it's not and I observed free movements in many watch-cases: Just holded in place by them stem. Kazim do a solid job: There's no doubt. Thanks Oscar! |

Really makes a lot of difference and comfort for the movement to be "tight" and not get bumped around inside the case held merely by a stem. ![]() Last edited on Sun May 23rd, 2010 03:08 am by bigrustypig |

Another proof that frustration and jalousy creates only hate inside the head of the simple minds... They should take it as a lesson and learn to go forward instead of blaming the rain for making them wet... |
