Gents, Yesterday I finally took the dive into the Bronze Age ! Had paid for the watch while on vacation but it ended up getting stuck in the customs ... After the exchange/counter-exchange of forms and discussions about cow hides and reptile leather, The German Finally Makes It Home !!!! My First Kazimon ... My First Bronze Diver ! So far, I love it .. Of course, it will take a bit of time to warm up to this obviously different case material ... Unfortunately, My better half borrowed the DSLR for a couple weeks since she is still on vacation & thus, The Nautilus II will have to settle for iPhone 5 shots for now ... I realize that the watch may not be to everyone's taste and is probably a touch pricey but in my mind, it compared favorably to some other 44mm 3000 dollar choices out there [bought new] .. Plus, this will likely stay a while ;) The Case Work is Phenomenal ... Karim's CS was fantastic as well ! Will post the pictures after I can freakin' get them sized to forum specifications .. N Last edited on Fri Mar 22nd, 2013 01:35 pm by nishant |

Awesome first post Nishant!!! (So first, welcome to 3T!!!).![]() I've seen your excellent DSLR shots out there in the forums (and they always have me drooling big time)...but look forward to seeing your quick iphone 5 shots once you can get them resized to the 800x600 limit since your better-half has your pro camera. That K-Naut II Bronze is definitely a very special (and rare) piece!!! An absolute beauty for sure! Big congrats! |

I guess the love wore off or circumstances changed. Already up for sale on TZ with those trademark fantastic shots from nishant. By golly this is a nice watch - and somehow in my very personal opinion, all the better for being close to straight out of the factory fresh finished, and not patina'ed... GLWS good sir! I love it and the new owner is gonna be one very lucky son-of-a-gun! |

That's my point, but frankly, yes most reviews in general are usless IMHO |

I must agree there... Reviews are very interesting and can help to decide about a buy or a pass. But I'd rather read a review written by a guy who worn his watch for a while than someone who just looked at it in the box and flipped it. I would say that from my own experience in writing that a review is better and more complete if I have the watch since 3-6 months or more than only a week. I would also not trust any review from a notorious flipper. |

Reviews which state facts and are a bit light on personal opinions are perfectly welcome in my inbox. I considered buying this very watch. IMHO it is genuinely one of the most desirable bronzos out there. Itchy trigger finger aside... I find some reviews very helpful. In this instance, I found the thread (noting that it was post 1 of 1) here after I found the watch for sale elsewhere. I guess there's nothing wrong with flipping the occasional watch (I think I have done it myself... once) but the timing of it all in this case would seem to be the equivalent of price-justification when the time to flip it occurred. Same with the Dreadnought from Eddie Platts? Rarity is a strange thing in our world of watches, I think. I have nothing against the OP - I have no idea who nishant is - and I acknowledge that circumstances can change overnight. But it did seem to me that "... a while..." was pretty short when it equates to a couple of weeks for something so "loved". Just a personal opinion. I stand by my comments about nishant's photographs, though - photography is obviously one of his skills and I think it makes a sale easier when the photos are of such a good quality. Truth be told - I am still kicking myself that I missed out on the pre-order for that one... Rock on, 3Ters! |

well said Ian,and as someone who owns every Kazimon going on many years,I can say they are of the finest quality, from the early Fricker made models to the new Kazimon manufacture, starting with the 1500 models to the latest NautilusII which is totally awesome imo!![]() Attachment: 004.JPG (Downloaded 81 times) |

Seeing those photos nearly makes me cry, O because there are few that I lust after but this sure is one. Just something about the balanced interplay of red white black and bronze that is "perfect" IMHO. Well done to yourself and the other lucky owners. Maybe one day Kazim will make a Nautilus 3? I will certainly be quicker next time! |

Too bad the photos don't appear on my laptop and iPad. I guess I missed a good show. That Bronzo on O's wrist is way cool. |
