bigrustypig - sounds like an interesting project (I believe that dilute acid is used to give shoe leather - for example - a vintage/antique appearance). I'd be wary of damaging the stitching - perhaps something better done before the strap is put together? hammerfjord - lovely watch; is that a RWC ?
