How do you take care of the Vortex bezel from dings and scratches? How resistant is it to scratches? Is it just painted over? If it becomes my daily beater, will it be able to stand the daily use? Thanks |

Warm welcome to 3T, Erahand6.gif. The Vortex is made of titanium, not painted over and thus is about 30% stronger than the usual stainless steel. Depending on your lifestyle, your watch will or will not get dinged/swirled. The secret is to always be careful, use watches suited to your lifestyle and then shift to a tool watch when the need arises. Hope this helpshappy1.gif Last edited on Sun Mar 7th, 2010 08:18 am by bigrustypig |

Many thanks bigrustypig for the reply, and the warm welcome. My worry was more on the bezel, front part which is colored black. I was wondering how it will hold up to everyday use. I think the rest of the case will hold up pretty well, but hopefully the bezel does too. Thanks. |
