Someone snickered about the lume quality of Hamilton watches. I've always thought my Hammy's had really good lume, especially the mil/pil styles. Anyway, I thought there's only one way to find out. And here you go... First up, Mr Chunky...  Here's the 'before' group shot:  Here's the 'after' group shot: (note: the one in the middle is really a dress watch, so I wouldn't have expected any lume, quite honestly)  |

I've been happy with the lume on my Hamiltons too. Two of three are dressier styles; but have decent lume anyway. Great lume shot! |

There are a few different models, but the ones with the small seconds hands (the one I have) are hand-winders, which I believe is a Unitas 6497 movement.
