I hate to clog the forums with questions... But did you get an email from Ralf before the fact, or did the Moray just show up?

For those of us in the States, Steve will send an email out to verify what you ordered and your mailing address when they are ready to ship. He has not received them yet.

Btw, did you get any leather straps with yours?

all of the Moray questions you guys are asking have already been answered within the fora/Benarus...I would suggest you take the time to read all the threads instead of just asking all over again...thankyou.gif

I read a post from the Benarus guys that a brown leather strap was shipping with the watch but the black leather wasn't up to his standards.  Then I read that a stealth landed with no leather straps at all so I wanted clarification on that.

No need to read all the other threads, as I've already done that.

then you read this thread where Ralf posted trouble with the leather straps(no colors specified) and they would be shipped later....you posted in it so you obviously knew...:D

The black leather straps which we want to add regular for every watch, are not in the quality how I like, so we will deliver these later to you. Means you will get the watch with bracelet, and extra clasp a brown leather strap, a rubber strap, screw drivers and the watch roll.

This was posted in this thread http://timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=17465&forum_id=51 .

In the thread I started it sounds like no leather straps were ready to ship, but the above states we should be getting a brown one.

This was the post that made me wonder.  I just love leather straps mainly, and it's partial excitement too :P

Cam...did you ever recieve an e-mail from Ralf stating you would recieve a brown strap and the black one later...and if not it would seem your hinging your thoughts on an e-mail someone else recieved...if you get a strap with your Moray then the excitement will be there and if they get sent later than you will be excited then... but personally it's the watch itself  on the bracelet that excites me and I am here to halt anymore confusion as to straps and shipping... hand6.gif

Don't get me wrong I love the look of the bracelet, but I've always thought that a leather straps looks the best with this type of case design, especially when paired with the big V buckles.

Looking forward to trying the metal band though, as the butterfly clasp looks amazing.

I take it you are making a comparison to Panerai and for the most part I agree only because for years you couldn'y buy a Panny with a bracelet....even today most Panny owners go the route of the strap because of the great expense for a bracelet....now straps to me are easily purchased and I own way more than my share but a bracelet is not easily found and when they are they are usually very expensive and I'm not talking after market I'm talking factory so when 1 is offered as part of the package and is custom to the watch that excites me yahoo.gif

if your watch comes from the factory you will not get the brown leather strap with it. because the brown leather straps are sitting in my office in the US, and Ralf's office in Germany. We will be packing them with the watches ourselves. This is why the watch in Asia that came from the factory did not have a brown leather strap, and the black one will have to come later.
