Sorry if this has been brought up before, but how does one pronounce "Benarus"?  Is it ben-r-us, or ben-a-roose, or some other pronunciation?  Just curious.

Now that we know how to prnounce it, I wouldn't mind knowing how the name came about.  Does it have a special meaing at all?  I do know that "Taucheruhren" means "Waterproof watches" in German!
