Disclaimer: I am not a watchmaker, but I have been asked many times how to change the Moray bezel, so I am showing you how I do it, which might not be the right way to do it... so I ask those with more knowledge on this subject to please speak up so I do not mislead my customers into damaging their watch or bezel. Install at your own risk, Benarus is not responsible if you scratch or damage your watch. take it or ship it to some one who has the tools and experience to do it if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. That being said, this is not that difficult and can be done with the right tools and patience. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Good job Steve. hand6.gif Thanks for this tutorial, I don't think it can be clearer. Your pictures are very clear and the whole process seems to be well describe. I can't wait to get mine, is it gone yet? Daniel |

Alright guys, I just changed my bezel per Steve's instructions and it was a breeze. I did however place my knife more around the 9 o'clock position, it seemed to have a bit more gap in this area. Due to the tight tolerance of the bezel/case I used one of my sharper knives, and remember like Steve said, do not saw the blade back and forth. DISCLAIMER: AS MENTIONED ABOVE, THIS WAS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, IF YOU DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS TYPE OF MODIFICATION TAKE YOUR WATCH TO A PRO (DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU SCREW YOUR WATCH UP). Thanks for the how-to Steve. Interesting even if I've got no Moray to practice on. hand6.gif |

It's always a plus to put a piece of scotch tape on the case where you insert the knife as an added precaution. Insert the blade as if opening a clam. I personally use a thin bladed paring knife for years now and it's worked best for me. (Chicago Cutlery 102S), and there is one in the kitchen somwhere...lol |

Thanks for the info. I did not have any problem changing it on my watch. With a little click the bezel was in place! And the watch looks AWESOME!!! |

Same here. The old bezel popped right out and new one went in smoothly. Took about 5min. The watch looks fabulous with the black bezel hand6.gif |
