What does Benarus have coming up in the future any ideas? Are there anymore upcoming automatics with Miyota 8215? Plans for a robust version again like the Barracuda and Sea Devils? Maybe a red dialed version? Maybe a carbon fiber version? Any thoughts on the matter?......Dan

Yes!! Chrono!

If quartz maybe w Ronda 5030 :

or Ronda 5040 w big date :

If mechanical maybe w an affordable Poljot 3133 bicompax (well know) or Seagull Chrono column-wheel (the same used by Precista rebuilt chrono)

Isn't automatic version of the World Diver in the pipeline? I look forward to the GMT diving watch. However, does not quite like the color of this quartz version, perhaps Ralf/Steve may reconsider the color a bit.

I like the idea of the big date chrono. That would look very nice.

What we have in mind for 2010 ???

something that takes place for the Sea Devil maybe with hooded lugs

A Barracuda 2 with different case but  same dial

If an affordable Chrono than a quartz, I think a hand wind diver is not good

Megalodon different dial color, but lets  finish the  first batch before

GMT automatic ,but we still wait for the movements

 different Morays

But all step by step, to much hurry causes only problems

But it will not be boring in 2010

I guess quartz are for alot of members, I must admit, I have quite a few pieces in my collection and not one quartz movement in the bunch. I think at this point I'll keep it that way, there is just something magical about a mechanical automatic movement no matter who makes it. I've been more than satisfied with the Miyota 8215 movements in my 4 Benarus watches. The price range has always been a great bang for the buck at 350 - 400 pre-order. It will be interesting to see what is on the horizon....Dan

It think that the trend of 3-hand watches should continue. Less busy dials, especially with a dive watch.

How about- A chrono version of the Moray, with choice of dial colors: Red, orange, dark grey, yellow... And flat, not metallic dial colors, for something different!

If you don't mind me asking, what are hooded lugs?
