They look way to big to me, so I trimmed the sides down a bit. What do you think? :)

When I first got this style strap and buckle with my Sea Devil I also thought they were to big to wear.  Since I've become accostumed to them and enjoy the leather strap that came with my Morays.

I hadn't thought of trimming the buckle down like you did, but I have to say it looks great!

I don't mind the original, but I like yours too. hand6.gif  Looks like you did a darn fine job of it as well.

PS:  You're at least partially to blame for my purchase of a dart dial Moray.  It was your picture with the p-time strap that really sealed it for me.  So thanks! :)

Very nice work Bob...looks original in that the symmetry etc is right on!!  Based on my lack of dremel skills, if I took this on you would know that I took a dremel to it.

I like the look of both as well...it does take some time getting used to these large Pre-V type buckles that are on so many straps now days, but I've grown to like them quite a bit.

Maybe you should patent this design and start selling them...kind of in-between the size of a Pre-V and a Thumbnail style buckle....I like it alot!!!woohoo.gif

I always liked the big straps and buckles that were sent. I also think you did a good job of modding the buckle too. personally I will keep them stock only because they are LE's and came as part of the package. Looking to get some stingray straps to dress them up a bit as well, but thats some fine workmanship none the less...Dan
