I thought I would ask this question here before GX9901 had a chance!  Is there any concern with regards to the lumed bezel and salt water?  Do I need to worry about the lume paint prematurely deteriorating?  Silly question?  Thanks!

the Meg is a genuine dive watch and the lume bezel will hold up without any issues....but with any watch you wear in saltwater you need to rinse it thoroughly with tap water afterwards.hand6.gif

when I rubbed paint into the worldiver lume bezel on the black dial version... not the orange and blue one I ahowed, but a different one... anyway, I rubbed it vigorously with paint thinner and alcohol and the lume paint was just fine... I was scrubbing the lume with chemicals to get some paint off of it.

Thanks for the replies...I assumed that the chemical composition of the lume paint would be conducive to a saline environment but never hurts to ask!  Good advice to rinse after salt water immersion...something I sometimes forget!

It speaks well of Benarus quality if you're willing to torture 'em.

Can't wait to get mine!
