Hi there - though I would show you a new strap I have just put on my Meg and quite happy with result. Searched out this 24/24 mm BOB Sportiva leather aged calf strap from waccex in Germany. I understand this particular BOB strap goes through a similar waterproofing process to the Kodiak straps used on Anomino, Kobold, Panerai. Also got waccex to supply a screw linked OEM buckle. Had originally wanted a sturdy waterproof strap at a decent price, and think I have achieved this. Let me know what you think. Attachment: IMG00047-20100217-1450 (2).jpg (Downloaded 326 times) |

Looks great, Jomayhand6.gif. The real test will be after a few months of wear when the leather's identity and the seller's process reveal themselves. |

Sorry lads - have had difficulty uploading photos. My mistake I am sure. Refer before link for more shots. Also noticed BOB have a the sportivo waterproof strap in shark hide, but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger! http://s847.photobucket.com/albums/ab37/jonat_hon/ |

Nice looking strap....hows the comfort? The lugs are so big. it's hard to tell if the strap looks dwarfed between them |

The lugs are so big. it's hard to tell if the strap looks dwarfed between them I had the same concern before ordering, so purposely went for chunky strap. And it works well together! Clearly the bracelet and watch case are made for each other and look great and make a huge impression. I get similar comments with this combination, partly because it really shows off the curved lugs. Furthermore this combination sits well on the wrist (not that the bracelet doesn't), and is significantly lighter. Cheers |
