We hit more than 100 reservations for the Megalodon 3 in 36 hours. Don't you want to know who reserved what? I know I do. Besides this will give us something to talk about while the Elves are busy building our toys. So, let's hear it:

I know that I had no hesitation upon asking "M" if she would be my lawfully wedding watch, and she said "Yes"

P polished for me. That blue is stunning.

The bead blasted finish is tempting but I felt in need of something shiny. ;-)

If money was no object I'd get one polished, one bead blasted (with different dials).

I went for polished. I have a lot of brushed and blasted, and some PVD, but no polished.

I feel like John Kerry. Call me the flip flopper.  I'm down for a J brushed, but every time I look at old pics of pvd megs, I can't help but be intrigued.  I'm loving the idea of a white dial contrasting against the black silhouette pvd offers.  I've never had a pvd watch however, so I wonder what the wear and tear is like.  Do prints show badly?

In regards to Viper's comment and my own curiousity, is there a point of no return timeline as to when Steve needs an firm notice on finish/ dial choice?  It's enough to make you wish they offered one watch and said take it or leave it.  Nahhhhh.

PS: I have a 7' wrist.  I never owned a big watch before purchasing my Moray.  To be honest,  I never want to take the thing off now that I have it.  If I had a solid end link steel bracelet to match like the first moray, I'm not sure I'd even think about another watch for a long time. As for my meg purchase,  I think it looks great, but I worry about the weight and, more so the girth of this watch.  I don't want to look like a tool.  How many out there had regrets and wound up selling or just not wearing the watch b/c of these issues?

I went with D - brushed finish. Since I had missed the Meg 2.
After agonizing over the choice for hours I went with D because it will be a classic and therefore it is most likely going be a keeper.
If I fall in love with it and want to go for another then I can be a bit more adventurous, but I guess it is going to look awesome in that combo anyway.
Must admit the white ceramic dial had me very keen and I may have a regret when the production samples arrive, however I went with my gut.
Let's hope it works out - very excited!

Hello.  Long time lurker, first time caller.

Model 'O' for me.  Red dial, brushed.

I'm dying to get this watch.  I've owned Citizen, Seiko, TW Steel, Welder and Chotovelli.  I've bought them, worn them, gotten tired of them and sold them off.  The Meg 3 though...  I think it's exactly what I'm looking for.  Steve's video of the guy who sent his watch in after being in a motorcycle accident sealed the deal for me.

Welcome Todd,
I'm glad you said "Hi". I went for "N" Brushed myself (Red Dial, Lume Bezel). That video helped me as well. I thought "I want that watch". Now all I have to do is pay for it.

I went with "H", I think the white ceramic dial with black PVD case will be a nice contrast.  I used some photoshop skills to get an idea of how it will look, it's going to be a long 6 months.

Touchscreen,
that looks awesome. I have photos of Meg II all over my desk to make the 6 months go slower. Welcome to this forum.
