Ralf and I have decided to add a sapphire insert over the bezel for the Remora 2. We are still working out the details so I will post again if this is not possible, but as of now it is what we are planning to do. The preorder customers will not see a price increase, they are locked in at the preorder price. The price will increase a bit for the unsold models when they are added to the website for sale because this is an upgrade that is not free. |

I think the current IWC Aquatimer has a sapphire-covered bezel, fwiw. |

also Omega Professional Plongeur has one. It is a sapphire cut to the shape of the bezel insert and fitted on top, flush with the top of the bezel and crystal. |
