What is a Meg 500?

It is a 500 meter Megalodon with an internal bi-directional bezel, lower profile, slimmer case back, lower double domed sapphire crystal, 47mm case. It uses the same bracelet, end links, and rubber strap as the Megalodon. We have 2 dial options and 9 variations. I will post all 9 variations in this thread in the next day or so. The Meg 500 will be available next week on our website for $850 + shipping. Price is subject to change in the future.

Here are the first 2 variations and a titanium Megalodon 4 to compare it with...

Hey there Steve,
Thanks for posting some pics of the new Meg 500 (really digging the sleek profile) & Meg 4 (looks like that blue dial color is a new shade? Very nice!). These new models are spectacular & keeping w/the coolness factor of the Meg family. I'm really looking forward to adding to my Meg collection once these are made available for purchase. Have a good one.

Very nice Steve. I have been waiting to see what you all did for an internal bezel. I will have to have one of these!

Thanks for posting more pics of some of the Meg 500 options Steve...Looking good.  Keep 'em coming.  I'm really partial to the grey dial w/brushed finish (but they all look terrific).  Thanks and Have a good one.

I must have been blind to have missed this. So sweet. Argh, now i'm torn, how do you decide if they come out at the same time as the Meg 4 and you can only get one?

Steve, since this is a more streamlined model is it a bit lighter than the regular Megalodon?

I would say the Meg Ti is about 100 grams lighter than the Meg 500...ThumbsUp02.gif

Hey there Steve, is this particular dial color a grey or silver? Please verify what color you & Ralf are calling it...plus, it appears to have a "flat" appearance, meaning, not a sun ray finish...like a slate grey? I love this new look. Have a good one.

The silver dial is comparable to the finish on an Apple computer. It is like a smooth blasted metal finish.

Excellent, thanks for the response!  That's how it appeared to me, but, I just wanted confirmation from you as colors tend to appear differently on various monitors.  Very Kewl dial color...looking forward to receiving my blasted version w/the silver dial & black hands. Thanks Steve and Have a good one.
