Hi all,

For years, I was addicted to having naked wrists.  But now thanks to the support of this site, I hope to kick this non-watch wearing habit for good. ;)

I started my recovery slowly, poking around various internet retailers looking for watches that would be different enough to hold my interest.  At the same time, I'm new at this, so I started out slowly with watches below the $300 mark.

My meager collection consists of a Reactor Neutron, Formex GT 325, a Poljot Fomenko GT1, and a black Seiko Atlas.

I like taking chances on brands that most of my friends haven't heard of (though these risks are definitely lowered with the info found on forums like yours).  That's how this forum ended up on my RADAR.

I'm really interested in the work of Debaufre, Ocean7, and especially Berg and his superb-looking Orsa divers.

Anyway, hi everyone, and thanks for inspiring me to give up naked wristedness forever.

Rhett

It's a Trap! careful. You'll be literally handcuffed to the wiles of time. Sure, it starts innocently with solid affordable tools like the Orsa. But none too soon you find yourself skipping meals to afford that SeaDweller. Save yourself. Get out before it's too late. (I'm sure it's too late- Welcome to our sorrowful object lusting lot.)Bouncy.gif
