Well it's official. The 3T Chicago meet is a go. It will be held on January 21st 2006. We have a full day of watch "shopping", lunch at one of Chicago's most famous pizza spots and a cool watch/cigar spot (see links). We are planning on meeting at one spot and renting an SUV or two to shuttle us around together (so we don't have several cars trailing each other). There will be an attending fee of $50 each person which includes a polo shirt that Glen (NRG) is having made with the 3T logo and the transportation fee for the rental cars. Glen is checking out hotels near these spots for those of you that may be coming in from out of town. He will be staying there too. The schedule is as follows:

1)http://www.smartjewelers.com/ One of my favorite watch stores. They open at 10am. They carry Rolex, IWC, Omega, Tissot, TAG and many others. They also have a large pre-owned section.
:D
2)http://www.loumalnatis.com/locations/suburbs_lincolnwood.html 5 minutes from Smart. Most of us will bring part of our collection to show. Pizza and show and tell.;)

3)http://www.cigarking.com Skokie,IL location. Check out their collection of fine timepieces. Also one of my favorite hang outs. Check out pics of the inside of the store. Closing time is 6pm
.;)

If you plan on attending, please Paypal Glen (NRG) the $50 for the polo and the rental cars. I hope this is acceptable to all. We hope to see you there.:D

nrgimages@mchsi.com Is Glen's paypal address.

If you plan on attending, email me also so I can keep a list.

WOW, I wish I could go. Sounds like a great time.  Chicago is a Ojibwa name and means "Skunk Place"  Sha-gog = skunk    They called it that because wild onions were pleantyful there in the spring.  The first veggie they would get after the winter.  They had big celebrations there and it sounds like people still do at least some WIS folks will soon.

1/22 is our church 10 anniversary.....so we will celebrate as well.
