party.gif To all 3T forumers... Hello from Twistedmetalz Singapore.

I am a 33yr old watch lover with dreams of owning Minute Repeater and Tourbillon.......toon1.gif

I love watches and so far have bravely serviced my automatic watches on my own, learned everything through trial and error though.  I have 6 humble Automatic watches in my collection:

An Omega Seamaster 300m Divers Watch,

A Seiko 5 Sports 100m,

A Timex Automatic recently bought from 'bay Canada ;) (non-working movement)

I do have a Cyma Automatic Limited Edition (given as present to my dad)

I bought it from a second hand shop all perfect but the movement is in a non-working state, I open up the case with a watch tool only to find a tiny screw has broken into 2 pieces and stucked in the watch spring movement... and now its working super fine Bouncy.gif

Phewww... wonder how much a simple removal of a tiny screw from the watch spring would have cost me if sent for repair at a watch shop....

I have a dismantled daydate watch (Miyota movement) but still on the lookout for a better looking watch dial before I assemble the movement back into the SS case and bracelet.

The sixth watch that I have is also a daydate watch (Miyota movement) with a good  looking black dial cool10.gif.  This is the watch I am currently wearing... I recently took out the movement for cool air drying and cleaned up the case of water due to some unfortunate incident of the rubber gasket at the screw on crown not doing its job.  Oh well the watch is now reassembled and working fine snoopy1.gif.

I am still on the lookout for watches with Grand Complications for both me and my wife.  And there is still a lot more for me to learn from 3T

Great to join this forum and exchange ideas with watch lovers from around the world

Cheers

Welcome to 3T!

Really enjoyed your intro! There was a time when I too was intrigued with taking apart movements, to the point where I looked into applying to a watchmaker's school. Kudos, twisted! woohoo.gif

Enjoy our forum and our family! :)
