I guess I should introduce myself. I have been interested in watches for most of my life but just started collecting a few years ago, mostly Divers and Military watches.

Here are some of my other "interests";subtlelaugh.gif

The Kids

The Wife

The Girlfriend

The Trees

My Book

Thanks JD, the Malibu is named Mabeline (French for Ma Bel). That's is why she is called My Girlfriend.

Here is a picture of her "Tramp Stamp";

And here is her Heart, a '71 Corvette LT1 350;

As for the watches I have posted a few, but I'm still working out the bugs.

Thanks Again,

Bill

Just a note too say my screen name has changed from Phil121 to Paladin... Paladin has come to mean something very special to me since I walked my oldest daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.

paladin (plural paladins)
  1. A heroic champion (especially a knightly one).
  2. A defender or advocate of a noble cause.
  3. Any of the 12 Companions of the court of Emperor Charlemagne.

In short "only the name was changed to protect the innocent"subtlelaugh.gif

Hey Bill,  sorry for the late response once again but I have to ask you; how did your son convince you to let him join the Air Force instead of the Navy?  subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif  Please let your son know that I really appreciate his service to our country.  hand6.gifhand6.gif  Just so you'll know why I'm "ribbing" you, I was an Air Force pilot for 22+ years.  I truly believe that the military is a very proud family tradition.  Thanks for your service to our country and I wish for your son to have a wonderful Air Force career, cheers.  ThumbsUp02.gif

4) The guy on the TV show!

...AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT PALADIN'S 1ST NAME WAS "WIRE"!

Now that that issue is out of the way, let an old Army CAV guy explain the Air Force vs Navy thing...except for operational environment (water vs air) they are both exceptional para-military units.  I respect them equally!!!subtlelaugh.gif

Kidding, of course, and I also thank your son for his service!
