Hi to everyone

I am glad to have found this forum and surely will enjoy being part of it.

My dad got me into collecting watches. He gave me mty first Swiss made watch which was a Benetton in '92 (Benetoon was made by Bulova then). He also gaev me my first Tag...a formula 1.

My collection has now grow that includes the first watch I bought, a Swatch Chronograph that is now a collector's item.

During my first work related travel, I chaced upon a Frederique Constant that was in a clearance shelf. It was on sale for 20,000 yen in Bic Camera store in Tokyo. Well, I gave it to my Dad and he never knew how much I really paid for it but he sure was glad when he opened his gift.

I now have a 5 year old son and I gave him his first watch a few months ago, a Swiss watch made by Swatch called Flik.

Recently, I decide to part ways with some of my collection. I sold a Tag Heuer 2000 chronograph for $500 and though it was a pain losing it, it was sure joy seing my son enjoying his new Playsation 3.

A good day to all

An interesting feature of the Tissot is that the minute hand of the chronograph moves counter clock-wise from 9 position to 3 and moves back to 9 swiftly after completing the half cycle.

Welcome Tod. I gave my Son a few months ago his first non play watch a taser h3. he is in the JRTOC program in high school (freshman) and now he has the collecting bug. I have let him wear all of my watches for functions except my XOskeleton.
