Hey everyone, newbie from NYC here. I've always had an interest in all things mechanical but it's usually manifested itself through motorcycles and knives. searching an EDC forum a few months ago I came across the Maratac Pilot Watch. I did a minimal amount of research, enough to determine that it'd be a great way to start things off... Well it did exactly that... in a serious way! In a seriously BAD way! Now these damn mechanical works of functioning art are invading my dreams... what the heck happened?! Well needless to say, I'm hooked and it's a pleasure to have found everyone here with such an amazing array of watches to drool over. I've got a few questions about some suggestions but I thought I'd get my intro out of the way (should I ask questions like that in the general discussion area?) Nice to be here and I'm sure a large group of you will help contribute to my financial ruin  |

Sounds like a deal to me! As soon as I have something better than a cellphone to take a decent pic with I'll set it up. Sadly the maratac pilot is nothing too special but hey, it spoke to me and at a decent price... Nice toy you've got in the driveway there! I worked at a Ducati shop for many years in Atlanta.
