Hello Guys,

New here but been on other forums...so kinda feel like a Free Agent.  But so far this seems like a very friendly forum.  I've been posting over in the Enzo forum.  Had some technical difficulties with my Enzo EMV but, Enzo is taking good care of me.  He is the manthankyou.gif.  The reason for my handle is....you guessed it, I'm a Nuclear system engineer at Millstone Power Station in Waterford CT.  We help keep the lights on!  Great to be here and hope to learn from the great WIS population you have here.party.gif

My collection: Sub No Date, Breitling Chrono Super Ocean, Aerospace and Colt II super quartz, Enzo EMV, Seiko Alpinist and Sportura, Oris - Miles Davis, Debaufre GMT II, Tag Carrera and a Steinhart Mach 1 Chrono.

Why yes I do.  The Debaufre GMT II is a very impressive peice with the ETA-2893-2 movement.  Winding it is smooth as glass.  I have the TT.  I wish my Sub no date was as hefty a peice as the Debaufre.  Their website is selling them for $499.00, you can't beat that value with a 2x4!coyote2.gif  Here she is:

Jim

Hi from Western Australia, Jim

Great site - friendly and helpful people - you'll enjoy yourself here, I am sure.

But if you are looking to buy - get in quick on some of the deals on here - they are often snapped up quickly!

Stay long, post often and share the hobby!   hand6.gif

Thanks for that, Jim. Panerai are rarer than rocking-horse poo here in Australia:D.

Mine is a PAM 063 GMT on OEM SS bracelet, but I am about to change out the OEM bracelet for an aftermarket one (just to save the wear and tear), because the old 063 is getting some more wrist time now that the weather here has warmed up a bit.

But for something completely cool - the PAM052 is a winner imho. There was one on the bay for silly money from the UK, and it is a 40mm version, but, well, lets just say I didn't know I had that much drool in me!!  Bidding has ended, but the item number is: 300164495777 . If you can view the item - scroll down to see some of the best photos I have seen yet of the Luminor auto chrono. Haven't seen that one in Australia.

Your collection is nice (love that BRE..... ITLING rubber strap on the Superquartz). The chrono is advertised as being only half a millimetre larger in dimensions than the Colt II, but how about a wrist shot to see how the two compare. Does the chrono "wear" a lot larger?

Have a terrific day!

IanM
