Welcome Outstretch, glad to have you at 3T.  Dive Watches, checkout Enzo, Orsa, and Kenzo.  Marc from Island Watch (IW forum) has a big select Zeno's and Seiko's and more.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! Am currently pulled between three watches:

SEIKO KINETIC OYSTER PROFESSIONAL

TAUCHMEISTER T0114

SEIKO ATLAS SCUBA

Any suggestions, comparisons on these 3 would be most appreciated. The Tauchmeister is speaking to me based upon the features and the Tritium, which I'm used to having with the Traser. The first Kinetic Seiko is a real beauty, though I have a feeling it's going to be quite a lump after the titanium Traser. I did used to wear a Rolex Sea Dweller for a number of years, though, so am used to having help to lift my left arm..

Yep, aesthetically, there's a lot of Sea Dweller in that watch which is possibly why I like it so much. Can't persuade the wife (just got married 3 months ago) to let me get another SD so this may have to do the trick.

Well, not liking to dwell on things and having spent 8 solid hours researching, I just pulled the trigger on the Seiko Kinetic Oyster Professional (SKA371P2). I'll post some pics when it arrives!

Here's a couple more from the Bay:

Hey outstretch

IanM here from Western Australia. Welcome! As you can already see - there are minds just like yours here - and a wealth of info at your fingertips. I lurk on other sites, too, but this place is the bomb.

Have a good time, post lots, and feel free to share!

Cheers!

Hey bud! Thanks! Yes, this seems like a fun place to hang out! Just received the Kinetic this morning and it's a sweet watch. It's not as heavy as I expected which is positive as I thought it might be a lot heavier. I used to love wearing really heavy watches, the bigger and heavier the better, but I got used to the titanium Traser and quite liked not noticing wearing it. That said, I can't wear it in earnest until Thursday when I'll receive the Monster and decide which one to keep.

well, got both the watches but I'm afraid to say they'll both be going back. The Kinetic was a nice watch but just didn't sit well and the hollow fingers bothered me. The Monster was also nice but I wasn't thrilled with the overall finish on the one I received, nor was I keen on the luminous dials. On both I would have preferred more resistance in the bezel, too. All in all I liked them both but couldn't live with either in the long run, soooo, maybe gonna have to spend a few more bucks on this one..sigh..

Well, after a little negotiation with the Mrs. I managed to get the green light on a GSAR which I've just ordered. I have a feeling that should do me nicely. :dude: Hmm...looks like I'll have to change my avatar again..:? (right...that's better..)

Looking forward to pixs of your new GSAR. Hope you take some wrist shots.  I plan on pulling the trigger on a new JSAR in March, if I think it's to big I will get a GSAR instead.

OK, images right here:

http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=9519&forum_id=5

My wrists are average size and whilst I can understand some people maybe wanting a larger case, I like it and the quality is just what I was looking for. Good weight, too, without being annoying and very comfortable on the rubber strap that accompanies it.

I must say, 20mm is quite small for the lug size but it's OK. I've ordered a new strap which I hope will beef it just a wee bit but will also get the bracelet as I have a feeling it will work well on one of those.
