Hey guys,

Could you give a little bit more detailed description of the problem you are observing?

Remember EliteDealSeeker captures and displays only NEW for sale threads. If they are "bumped" or "up'd" to the top, this changes the LAST MODIFIED date of the thread, but it doesn't change the ORIGINAL DATE OF POST of the thread. Changing the title has no effect either (threads are uniquely identified by their URL). One of the design goals of EliteDealSeeker was this very behavior: that you see only the freshest new "for sale" posts.

Thanks for using the site!

Andrew

When I asked that question at the time, 3T was coming up on elitedealseekers off and on, I understand your reply, but there was a time about 6 months ago where 3T showed up and then it was gone, and I was selling stuff at that time and nothing new ever popped up, then it went away altogether and then recently it has popped up.

Im going to post a test right now and see if 3T shows up?

Thanks
Hucky

Paxman, which of these two are happening?

1) You typed in (or had bookmark) http://ip1.brainstemprojects.com/~elite

2) You typed in http://www.elitedealseeker.com but your browser changes the URL to http://ip1.brainstemprojects.com/~elite

Or is it something else?

I really appreciate your time in helping me diagnose the problem. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Andrew

Andrew  I had a bookmark set which redirected me to http://ip1.brainstemprojects.com/~elite

I tried to type in the url at home and ended up with the same result. Just did it at work and got through fine....
